Mishlei - Proverbs
Mishlei (Proverbs) is part of what is known as the “Wisdom Literature” of the bible. Wisdom, informed by the fear of God, plays a central role in Mishlei’s discussion of the challenges of life and the choices that face every person throughout his/her life. As in the case of so much of Tora literature, studying a book like Mishlei inevitably leads to holding a mirror up to ourselves and reflecting about how we live and what we do.
