KMS Virtual Tour
Sanctuary
The high ceiling, airy feeling and unusual angles of our Main
Sanctuary are designed to be especially conducive toward contemplation
and T'filah. Below are two views of the front of the sanctuary and the
ark. You may click on either one for a more detailed view. Above the
ark is the verse fragment:

"You shall do that which is right and good
in the eyes of the Lord" (Deut. 6:18).
Beit Midrash
One of the highlights of our building is the Donald and Chantze Butler
Beit Midrash, equipped with an excellent Judaica library in both
Hebrew and English. In the Beit Midrash are also a unique set of
stained glass windows dedicated to the memory of Valerie Resnick, z"l.
See the accompanying Dvar Torah by
Rabbi Bieler.
The windows spell out two Biblical verse fragments:
"Her mouth is full of wisdom, her tongue with kindly teaching"
(Proverbs 31:26) and

"Let the work of our hands prosper; O prosper the work of our hands!"
(Psalms 90:17). Below you can see small versions of each verse. Click
on any pane of
the stained glass for a larger version. The photos are courtesy of our
member Steve Prensky.
