KMS Youth Activities
The new KMS Youth Director is Ms. Naomi Sandberg.
She comes to KMS with an extensive background in Jewish education.
She has been a Hebrew and Judaics teacher at the Jewish
Primary Day School for the past eight years. This year she
begins a new position at JPDS as the Technology coordinator
for the school. She has worked as a youth group advisor and
Hebrew School teacher at area synagogues.
Naomi hails from Canada, but grew up in the area. She graduated from
the Hebrew Academy of Greater Washington. She studied for a
year in Israel at Bar Ilan University and completed her
Bachelors Degree in Education at McGill University in
Montreal. Naomi received two Masters Degrees, one in
Elementary Education from Towson State University and one in
Jewish Studies from Baltimore Hebrew University.
Naomi's goals for the KMS youth programs include creating exciting and
meaningful shabbat programs and training staff to implement
these programs.
