KMS encourages all members and guests to participate in our annual appeals during Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Your contributions are a significant percentage of our revenue and allow us to provide the davening, programming and community support of which we are so proud. If we receive participation from 50% or more of our membership units for any one appeal, we will not have an in-person appeal for that cause.

KMS is presenting four appeals during the Yamim Noraim:

I. Supporting Israel

Our appeal will support La’Ofek, which is currently providing training and employment assistance to Ethiopian Israelis and recently discharged IDF lone soldiers who are from impoverished families. Working with a variety of partners around the country, La’Ofek also helps at-risk teens learn important life skills, stay in school, and settle into their IDF service.
