Simcha/Event Reservation Policies
Simcha/Event Reservation Policies
Reservations for simcha dates on the KMS calendar can be made by filling out the reservation form on the KMS website (link below). Reserved dates will be held for members on a first come, first served basis beginning three years to the month prior to your simcha. Reservations made more than three years to the month prior to your simcha will not be honored. Your simcha will not be placed on the calendar until the office confirms the availability of your requested date as well as receipt of the required $200 reservation fee.
Please note that when you are making a reservation, you will be asked to request which minyan(im) you would like to reserve. We do take requests for separate minyanim on the same date (i.e. – three separate bar/bat mitzvah reservations for the same date, where one is at the 7 a.m. minyan, one is at the 9 a.m. minyan and one is at the Women’s Tefilla Group). We will only accept one reservation per minyan on a first come, first served basis as described above. Reservations made for the use of the Social Hall and/or other areas of the shul will also be honored on a first come, first served basis as described above.
Payment: Six months prior to your simcha you will need to sign a facility usage contract with the shul office. At that time, a 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid to the shul (or a confirmed payment plan initiated). The balance of your usage charges is due (or a confirmed payment plan initiated) within two weeks following your simcha.
